Steamboat galore (27 Feb '10)

Went to a friend's place for steamboat dinner. She ordered a lot of food for us, as she's got plenty of "lobangs" for cheap and fresh food. Sat at the table for nearly 2 hours after playing Rock band. It was a good chill-out session~

CG Bowling Session (26 Feb '10)

Last Friday we went to Yishun Safra club for a time of bowling. It's been a while since I last bowled, so getting more and more rusty in my bowl-throws. Am surprised that the Safra club at Yishun is so well-equipped! Arcade, Karaokae, pub, chinese restaurant... maybe can go back one of these days again~

Office Lou Hei (26 Feb '10)

Today we went to the nearby "kopi tiam" for a "lou hei" session, since the 15 days Chinese New Year celebrations are drawing to a close. Great fun and superb fellowship, even though the weather is a bit the "hot hot lai"... :P

Buy Ba Kwa Trip (09 Feb '10)

Yesterday took leave to do spring-cleaning for Chinese New Year as well as buy my "ba kwa" (肉干) hoot for my family. Went to the Fragrance Food factory outlet at Woodlands Terrace. Supposed to go with another friend, but he last minute had to go to bank for some urgent matters*. Reached there around 10 am, but already there was quite a crowd there. I didn't buy too much, as I wasn't planning on taking a cab back home. But I wanna buy so much of the CNY goodies! :P

* 放我飞机！ :P

Eh, the trailer was more interesting than the movie. Anyway, this movie present a totally warped picture of God and angels. And it tries too hard to be too many things to everybody. So you get angels-possessed people who act like zombies...

Night out in town (03 Feb '10)

Last night went to town to chill with a couple of friends. Was there early so decided to go to Carl Junior's for dinner. Been too long since I last went there; so long that I forgot to ask them to change my burger to use sour-dough buns.

After that, went to walk around Marina Square and Esplanade. There was a free jazz piano and singer performance at the concourse of the Esplanade. Went and sat down to rest and relax to the soothing crooning as well as the fantastic piano tunes.

Pop over afterwards to Jazz@sevenatenine, for a chill session with my friends. Great jazz! Though the house-pour is a bit cannot make it :P will go back there and try other stuff another time~
