CG Lunch (28 May '10)

Had a wonderful potluck lunch at my CG Leader's home just now from noon to around 3. It was a great time of relaxation for everybody, as it was a public holidays. Let our hair down and ate to our hearts' content. After that had a short but sweet time of prayers for one another, where we gave thanks to God for the good things He placed in our lives; as well as for each other's prayer needs.

Windows office 2010 (27 May '10)

Woohoo! My office IT people upgraded my Windows Office today. Looks prettier, but that means more tricks for this old dawg to learn... :p

Kimchi Noodles Lunch (24 May '10)

Been craving for instant mee-in-a-up for quite a while, so last weekend went to but at Sheng-siong a megapack of noodles! mmmmm, not the best tasting mee, but still shiok~

Dinner at Tonkichi (21 May '10)

Met up a friend for dinner in town. As one of us had a craving for Japanese food, decided to bring them to Tonkichi. It's been 3-4 years since I last went back there to try the katsu, but it still taste good as ever! Thank God for 'tecknologi'!*


*Apparently, their frying machines are very expensive - they are in the 5-digits range. That's why their katsu are able to stay crispy even after 1 hour.... mmmmm!

Office Department Retreat (21 May '10)

We went out of the office for a department getaway for a day, to recharge ourselves spiritually and spend some time together as a department. Had 3 departments out, so that's nearly half the office. It was a good time of sharing our struggles and victories, as well as enjoying each others' company and fellowshipping over food. We should do this more often... :p

Dinner at Ikea Tampines (19 May '10)

Last night after badminton, we went to Ikea Tampines for a good meal. Finally we manage to make our way from Bedok Sports Hall to the place. Thank you, God! XD

Yenling's send-off (15 May '10)

Was back at the airport in less than 48 hours to send another friend off. Our "grand-dame" of my ex-CG is flying off for a 1-year working stint in Austria! A couple of us got together at the airport to send off her with our blessings and well-wishes. Wong Yenling, Fighting!*

Dian Xiao Er DInner (14 May 10)

Went to Dian xiao Er at Causeway point last night to celebrate the belated birthdays of Jeremy and Valerie. Although it has been opened a while, it's my first time there. The food is pretty yummy, and the restaurant was packed on a Friday night. As usual we ordered a bit more food, o everybody went home with a full stomach last night. XD

Mel's Send-off (14 may '10)

A few of us went down early this morning to send off our beloved friend, Mel at the airport. The bride-to-be was looking all radiant and excited to go. :p Can't wait for her to send us the pictures of her wedding. :D Have lotsa fun at ya wedding, "Nana" Mel! Blessed beginnings together with Abel!

Dinner at Sembawang (13 May '10)

Had a belated Mother's day celebration, as both my younger siblings were not around on last Sunday to celebrate with my mom. Thank God the weather turned for the better yesterday evening, as well as my mom feeling better enough to go out for an outside meal.

My new workspace part 2

argh, decided to bring home more stuff so as to create more workspace. Thankfully co-worker and boss away, so only had remaining co-worker to disturb during the re-arrangement (Sorry, momma tan!)

Dad's birthday Dinner (01 May '10)

Went out for dinner together as a family, to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. Went to his favourite Malay zhi-char stall and order a spread. Mom wasn't feeling that well, so we didn't stay out too long either. Blessed birthday, Dad!

My new workspace

Transferred my old stuff to my new workspace last Friday. Still trying to settle into my new space, and get into the working rhythm/groove. Good thing is that I got a more powerful PC (with 3GB RAM!). But Windows 7 will take me some time to get used to...
