Some of us went for dinner that night to continue the appreciation session from lunch. Most of the people were too busy eating than wanting to eat their photos taken, so I just squeeze off a few shots of food...

Office Appreciation Lunch (30 Mar '11)

We gathered for a time of appreciation lunch* this afternoon in the office. It was a good long lunch, with everybody enjoying the simple meal and the wonderful fellowship. Best of wishes to Kay, who will be leave us to answer God's calling in another ministry! We will also free up more of Esther's time to enjoy her pursuits. (cough cough Korea drama) ... :p

A late 70s anime classics re-made into a live-action movie. Pretty decent film, although there are discernible cuts by the censors, which I don't understand why?! Primarily a Kimura Takuya movie, that's why his head is so big in the poster; all his fans will love it. More of an old school war movie set in space, don't expect Hollywood pacing.

McDo Breakfast (18 Mar '11)

Last night dunno why had McDo breakfast craving. So decided this morning to go and had my fill; it's been at least 2-3 years since I last had my breakfast at McDonald's. Dunno whether it's because of school holidays or not, but there's lotsa people at Causeway Point branch. Anyway, brought back good old memories of hanging out with my secondary school friends...

Soiree at Bistro Amigo (16 Mar '11)

Went to catch up with and ex-colleague over dinner on Wednesday. Had a good diner and adjourn to Bistro Amigo at Funan Digital Mall for a night cap. Ordered a $69++ bottle of red, kinda too tannic for my liking (I prefer sweet wine). The apple pie looks bigger from last time, but I ain't complining... BURP!!!

A very well-made animation! Definitely a Western Spaghetti at heart. Lotsa big names in voice acting, and the desert creatures are totally mesmerizing. And the soundtrack. oh my, the soundtrack... Ole!~

Dinner at 大黑屋 (09 Mar '11)

Met my friends up before going for jazz at INK last night. ONe of them had craving for Sapporo ramen, so we went to 大黑屋 beneath Cityhall. Really fantastic the food! The japanese egg tamago was superb! The chicken karaage was fantastic too, goes real well with my Sapporo "biru"! :p~~~
