Caught my eyes while browsing through the library yesterday. Great story line, dark and parallels a bit too close to the real life for my liking. Moral issues with superheros and villains thrown in... I like!

hey hey, final day of our trip in HK. Supposed to attend a local church service, but my friend didn't managed to check it out the night before, and so we missed it. So we went back to "walk walk see see eat eat" ... :D

Shopping the whole day, so din take much pictures. Evening went for deserts, roasted pigeon and goose. What can I say? Ish 买东西,吃东西,买东西,吃东西... :D

Day 2, Hong Kong Trip (12 Sep '08)

Had my 1st Po Lo Bao (菠蘿包) - shiok!~ Cheap and good. Afternoon went to meet up with a friend who's working around Quarry Bay. LAter was brought to this giant warehouse, where there are plenty of books!! ~ paradise for me sia. Find the contrast of buildings both new and old, side by side, very interesting .*

At night went to the Peak, then went down to stroll ard Lam Kwai Fung. Happening night-life!

*Something which Singapore is losing, as our "gah men" keep painting/refurbishing/demolishing our historic building)

Some pics taken on the 1st day. Wasn't as trigger-happy, as compared to my previous trip. More focused on soaking in the environment and storing memories in my brains then on the camera. Still, pictures are a great way of capturing the moment.

on chilling out at the airport early in the morning...

ok, too cheapskate to spend money on going to airport via cab after midnight, cos I figured it would cost me over $40, what with all the midnight charge, and with me staying at "where the birds don't lay eggs" Woodlands, it's no fun for my bank account. As you can see, I've typed the above in a single sentence. That means my brains are seriously short on sleep. :p Just sitting down here at the Pacific cafe, groggy and dazed. It's actually quite groovy, cos they play funky and jazzy psychedelic lounge muzak. Ooooo, i think it's the sugar high just passing over from my mango Chillino...
