After 2 weeks' of exercisze, finally time to enjoy in the evening. we were hoping to introduce good Tim to some fun and excitement tonight, but he was absent due to loss of voice. Never mind, still got tomorrow evening... niak niak niak...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

OK, surprisingly kinda enjoyable for me. I guess because I went in with no expectations, weren't a hardcore Marvel fan-boy, not were expecting any serious acting from a comic-book adaptation. Oh, the explosions, violence and action contributes towards the distraction. Oh, for the female fans, shots of semi-naked and naked Hugh Jackman will probably set your hearts racing a bit :p

My only real gripe was that Gambit didn't speak with a pronounced Creole accent, and he was acting a bit too queer for my liking...

3.5 stars

Melvyn's and Valerie's Wedding Dinner (02 May '09)

Went for a university friend's wedding dinner at Holiday Inn Hotel (Park View). Very interesting event, as the groom's side is Perankan, so a lot of ladies and a few of the men were wearing the traditional Baba-Nyonya dresses. Good time of catching up with long lost friends. XD

Dad's Birthday Lunch (02 May '09)

Took Dad out to the nearby market for his favourite dish - curry fish head! The ambiance ain't that great, but the company and the food makes all the difference! Blessed birthday, Dad! XD
