Nice tune. We want the MV! XD

Sounds of the sea

nice relaxing sounds of the waves crashing against the sands

Dinner around Chinatown (22 May '09)

Met my friend for dinner near Chinatown. Found this fabulous Indonesian food restaurant along Kong Saik Road. I paid $8 for my nasi padang, but it was worth every cent for the scrumptious collagen-y beef cheek meat, fresh chewy prawns and nice brinjals. A tad oily, but really delicious! After that went for desserts at the traditional Chinese shops. Shiok day!

Lunch at Spageddies' (22 May '09)

After the walk at East Coast, supposed to have birthday lunch with one of the colleagues. But they were too caught up in a meeting (on a Friday :P), and the birthday boy himself got more meetings after that. In the end, we tried out the newly opened Spageddies at Bedok without the birthday boy-o. It's not as fantastic as the branch in town, but at least there's air-con :P

Walk around East Coast (22 May '09)

Last Friday went back to office to chat with some of the office people. Submit my off-in-lieu for the same day then went to walk walk around East Caost. It was very sunny that morning, great for taking pictures. No wind though, so was kinda hot.Still it was a good walk :D

on fear and faith...

being 2 sides of the same coin. That's the gist I got out of this morning's sermon. Haven't been to church for 2 sundays lioa, because of reservist. It was great to be able to go to the house of my Father and worship Him with the rest of the people. Was ministered by the singing of songs, and meditation upon the lyrics. Today we were continuing on the Kadesh Barnea episode in Numbers Chapter 13 to 14.

Even as Pastor Ed was going through the sermon, I got a small bright light-bulb lit up inside my head as I listened. Fear and faith both involve the unknown, they are reactionary responses that comes naturally to man when they can't see the future. When you fix your eyes on the things of the earth, your response will tend to gravitate towards fear; when you see God at work, and remember His promises in His word, faith will arise.

The Wedding Singer (1998)

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Watched this for the first time last night in the wee hours on national tv. It was a riot! The cheesy 80s soundtrack really goes straight to my heart. and of the course, the even cheesier plot of boy-meets-girl love story really sells. Now i have the silly tune of "Do you really wanna hurt me" stuck in my blains... :P
