on What is the Gospel... According to you?

It doesn't take much to leave a negative mark upon those lost people in your life:

An unkind remark

A critical spirit

An off-color joke

Conversely,

An act of kindness

A gentle touch

A restrained tongue

Also leave an impression - Perhaps plant a seed and initiate a hunger that is the beginning of their quest for God.

Many of our friends who are outside of Christ will rarely, if ever, darken the door of a church.

But you can be sure they are reading the Gospel through your life... for good or for bad.

"You yourselves are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ..."

(II Corinthians 3:2, 3a)

on the need to be quiet and listen to Him...

Dear God,

I know I've been distant from You lately. Even with all the activities and plans and things I'm immersed in, I've neglected to do the one most important thing in this life - to worship You and give You glory.

Forgive me God, and turn me from away my sins. Let me lay it all down at Your feet, and just come before you. Let me shut up my foolish talk and just be still before you. Let me dwell in Your Presence, and let Your Holy Spirit minister. Let me look to my Lord and Saviour Jesus, and not forget His death and resurrection. Let me never forget the Imminent coming of the Christ, and press on in hope.

Thank You, God.
