Watched this bits and pieces over the weekend. Didn't watch it from the beginning, so was a bit lost at first. Then as the show progress, was just sucked into watching on how bad the boyfriend can treat his girlfriend. Premise is quite weird also: men with B-type blood are jerks and make bad boyfriends. Go figure...

Went there with a friend for after-dinner drinks and desserts after binging out at Chomp Chomp. Had a Banana Rhumba. Absolutely heavenly, think loads of chocolate ice-cream with chips and banana slices thrown in. The ice-cream is the home-made kind, takes longer time to melt and is chewy. There are other desserts with great names, but alas, my stomach is only so big :p

We got into this psychedelic room with plush red sofas (real soft, beware if you are a sofa plonker, hazardous to back), with great purple shiny curtains coming down the sides (yesh, I'm a "pur-pur"-holic.) They still had the red hearts bling-bling dangling across the ceiling, but it's nuttin so "feminine" that I can't handle. :D There weren't many customers there on a Sunday evening, so me and my friend can still lounge comfortably without onlookers staring. Do bring a coat though, if you are not an air-con lover, they do turn down the temperature (below 20 degrees?) in the cafe.

Will probably go there again in 2 sundays time.

My colleague just introduced me to this girl band from Japan. Unfortunately, they have already disbanded to pursue their individual dreams and careers. Still, their songs pack quite a punch.

on 6.5 hours of mahjong...

yeaps, played 6.5 hours of mahjong on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Nope, not those hardcore players who played throughout the night. We played from 2pm till around 9.30pm at night, with an hour of dinner break. And nope, we didn't play money - it was "卫生麻将".*

I'm not a mahjong-holic. Only picked it up during university days of playing computer mahjong games. Whenever I played the real thing, always managed to “诈胡”.Thank God my friends are the "chin chye" players kind, and are not particular when I make mistakes. And yes, sometimes I do try their patience by gaming with the lowest-level kind of hand, like 平胡，等花牌加自摸.Yes, I'm a shameless player... :D But it's the fun that counts, right? :P
