Appreciation Party for Jeanne (30 Jun '09)

Yesterday we threw a mini-party to show our appreciation for Jeanne, who has been volunteering her time with us for the past two months. She has been a great help in helping us with our office conference, as well as other stuff around the office. She'll be moving onto her studies, and we wish her all the best in the next phase~

Seeing her reminds me of the time I was working here as a volunteer. Ah, how time flies... okay, I'm dating myself here :p All the best for your future, Jeanne!

Kudos to Eddie for the extra photos~

At the Airport (26 Jun '09)

The Butlers are flying off today at the airport, so a few of us got together to go to airport and send Dave and Carol off. Hugs and tears as we won't be seeing the couple for a while*.

*At least not Carol. Dave'll be back in a week's plus time. :p

TGIF - Treat Your Mother Right

TReat your momma right, foo!~

Dinner at Brotzeit (25 Jun '09)

A few of us decided to head down to try German cuisin for dinner at Brotzeit at Raffels city. We managed to get there early before happy hours - definitely a boon! We tried the cold plate, the pork knuckle, the fish platter, the ice-cream and the apple strudel. The price was a bit expensive, but the quality is definitely there. Enjoyed the fellowship tremendously; but the dinner does put a big dent in my no-carbs diet that just started this week... :p

P.S. Added some pics, thanks to Wendy!

Chill out at Starbucks (25 Jun '09)

After tha theavy meal, we were just too stuffed and drowzy. We headed downstairs to Starbucks to chill and rest up a bit before the next high=light of the day: movie! XD

Lunch at Aston's (25 Jun '09)

After the delightful breakfast at Toast box, we split up into our individual departments and spent quality time together. We gathered back around noon-time and head off to a scrumptious lunch at the Cathay. As there was quite a big group of us, we chose to sit on the exterior of the restaurant. Surprisingly, it was pretty breezy and cooling, despite the bright sunshine. I think it was the Lord's way of blessing the lunch fellowship. ;D

Breakfast at Toast Box (25 Jun '09)

Had our 1st office departmental spiritual day-off today.

Usually we have a day off each quarter of the year, to go take a break from work and office and be touch with the spirit-man in us; but usually that's on a individual basis. This year, our HR department is trying out something new in making the departments taking spiritual day together.

A few of the departments decided to take theirs today, due to the busy schedule this quarter. And what better way to start it off by enjoying fellowshipping with one another over nice simple breakfast.

Kudos to Eddie and Eileen for coming up with the idea!

P.S. Kudos again to Eddie for the extra photos!
