7th All Asia EFC Conference

In the early 1960s, EFC America sent their missionaries to Singapore and Malaysia to plant House Churches. As a result, several EFC Churches were established. Some of the earliest EFC Churched were Bethany and Woodlands EFC. Several of the EFC Churches like Emmanuel and Covenant EFC also received the faithful ministry of Rev & Mrs Richard Carlson; Rev & Mrs Glen Whitmore in our early formation years.

In the early 1990s, EFC America disengaged themselves from Singapore and Malaysia so as to focus on other countries. Meanwhile, the Asian EFC Churches started to gather together for mutual partnership in Missions and ministry encouragement. Hence, the Asian EFC Churches began to meet once in every 4 years and different countries took turns to host each conference.

Singapore EFC is privileged to host this 7th All Asia EFC Conference. Currently we have 90 foreign participants from 8 countries and 60 local Singaporean participants. The theme is: Leadership for Global Missions. The Day Conference will seek to minister to these 150 participants. However, we have specially scheduled 3 Public Nights for congregational members' participation. Please see details below:
