His insights on human nature and the undeniable reality of God in Mere Christianity was a mile-stone in my Christian life in secondary school.
Below is a most memorable quote that's been so true to the idea of our created purpose and the God's redemption plan:
To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken...(but) the only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers of and perturbations of love is Hell.
The Four Loves
Enjoy the movie, may the deep magic empower you. : )

This is indeed a great movie. Being a new christian, having read the book and even a short explanation of how the story corresponds to our salvation, I entered the cinema thinking I "knew it all" so to speak. Yet as I sat there watching, I felt this deep resonance in my heart. In the movie, how could such a majestic being as Aslan die for the sake of a traitor and how truly great his love is for his people. In reality, how could our Lord Jesus Christ die just for the sake of sinners like us... How truly great is His love for us!
ReplyDeleteWatch it! Love it! and let it remind us of Our Lord's love for us.
