Outstanding show, with great performance form Lee Young-ae (of "Jewel in the Palace 大长今 fame) and fantastic director Park Chan Wook (of "JSA", "Sympathy for Mr Vengeance" and "OLDBOY").

The plot is macabre, dark and very very sad. The gore is plentiful. I guess what impresses me most is how Lee Young-ae managed to portray realistically as a psycho-bitch (no milder word I can used to describe her character Geum-ja") And what pushes this woman over the edge is because of a psychotic bastard, also acted convincingly by another top Korean actor, Choi Min Sik.
