hmmm, for some reason, keep running into the issue of suffering and pains in the past few days, be it reading in blog postings or in the sermon just over the pulpit. Well, life is hard, and it's hard to live. So I'm glad I have the Source of Hope and Joy, who did not promised me there will not be care-free existence while during my pilgrimage on this earth, but One who promised He'll be with me in my times of trouble.
