Moreover, there a couple of wedding invites in the next month, of which I am keen to bless the couples. Also, needed some cash to buy some "necessities"* and spend time with friends**. Last, but most importantly, can start the discipline of tithing again.
Just updated my daily expenses chart. A good practice which I decided to adopt from my friend's example, as a way of keeping track of my spending habits. I realised I'm really a man of appetite, and my stomach is my god. Must repent ah, and start to eat less~ Also, after doing my sums, realised I got less than three hundred "big kahuna" to last me till next payday. With that in mind, guess I have to place certain restrictions on my lifestyle^, till the full pay cheque comes in.

*sandals, house phone... yesh, not your usual rice, fish and meat stuff....
** Yeaps, my friends have been very generous to me in my long sojourn of unemployment. Still, cannot take their generosity and good will for granted.
^ no more watching of movies every other day, less snacking on tidbits, more walking around places rather than use the escalating public transport system...

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV)
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' " - Matthew 4:3-5 (NIV)
