on blessings of an additional day of off this month~

haha, just read this in my office e-mail:

"Dear Co-Workers,

 

There is a gazetted public holiday coming this month, Hari Raya Puasa and it is falling on the 13th Oct which happens to be a saturday.  As per the guideline in our  Staff Handbook, the office will be closed on the following Monday if the public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday.

 

Therefore, we would like to announce officially that the office will be closed on the 15th Oct 07.

 

Pls note that for those who have applied for leave on that day prior to this, your leave for that day will be cancelled. If you have any queries, please let us know.
