Has lotsa blood and action, with moments of waiting in suspense.A philosophical contest of bushido, with a morbid Japanese fixation of death and violence, punctuated with humor. A truly Japanese movie that must be watched on the big screen to fully appreciate the theatrics. Unfortunately, the scissors of the censors has struck again, and there are parts that are obviously censored...

Green Lantern 3D (2011)

Yet another superhero story that gets the movie treatment. My friend bought the 3D format; surprisingly the 3D effects are done pretty nicely (no bulging forehead like Thor's). The story is a bit slow though; pacing not really there. And according to my friend who reads the comic, there's a deviation from the comics storyline. All in all, can just catch it on a weekday, sans 3D effects.

My new Office PC Desktop (15 Jun '11)

There were too many unused files and icons lying about on my office PC desktop. Decided to do a clean-up. Looking much better, but I will clear more stuff out. Declutter the clutter!

CG Retreat (08 - 10 Jun '11)

Went to A Famosa Resort near Melacca for a short getaway last week. This year we've got 1 more car joining us for the road trip. So it's a 3-car race up Malaysia :D Didn't take much pictures this time round, as had to charge my battery the afternoon we reached there. So didn't have the durian soiree pics :p
