AJC Family Day

Anderson Junior College is having its annual Family Day on 22 April 2006. The event will be held 8.30am to 12.30am. This is a day for both students and staff to bond and enjoy themselves as a family via participation in games and setting up of food stalls. We're hoping to raise $3,000 from AJ Family Day for the AJC Alumni Bursary Fund. The fund, managed by AJC Alumni Association Exco, serves needy ex-AJCians studying at NUS, NTU or SMU. Only $11,000 has been raised for the fund since it was set up in 2005, with one bursary award given each year to a deserving ex-AJCian. This supports our college motto (Non Mihi Solum - "not for myself alone") with seniors and juniors supporting that fund for AJCians in their tertiary education.

In addition, Family Day aims to create bonding amongst our AJ members through a day of fun and games. The main highlights for the day include:



- Jamming Band

- Bungee Frenzy Theme Park Rides

- Futsal Street Soccer Competition

- Dodge-Paint Ball Booth

- Lan Gaming Booth

- PS2 and Xbox Booth

- Dunking Booth

- Haunted House
