okay, when i first saw it the other day, saw there was a very long queue. so assumed the food must have had a certain quality.

so went 2 days back to buy the BBF (Beer Battered Fish). It still tasted alright when it was hot. but once it starts to cool down a bit, noticed the chef put too much pepper and salt on the fish.

the dip combination was more "normal" ( I had the ketchup and mayonnaise, instead of the vinegar and salt). but too little...

  1. is it a girl cooking it? if not, its not the original cook.. the joint is the 2nd one that 2 young girls opened. The original one is in Far East basement. The BBF is really good. Did you try the fried mars bar with ice-cream? That's really the specialty of the store. :) The sausage with mash was also decent.

  2. nope, it isn't. Think it was some guys doing it. the crumbs were kinda darkened, think they use the oil too high a temperature to fry the BBF.

nah, din try the fried mars bar. sounds too sinful... :p
