another fundamental principle that stuck in my mind after another co-worker shared this during staff devotions. It has to do with the principle of hospitality.

Simply put - if I have a thirst and want to have a drink, it seems most probably the guy next to me also have a thirst and wants to have a drink too. So if I'm can get myself a drink to satisfy my thirst, I should get my fellow thirsty person a drink as well, so that his thirst can be slaked as well.
Same with our daily devotions and lessons gleaned in the Lord - we should not sting or hold back God's wisdom for ourselves only, while our fellow men are thirsting for the truth. If you see a fellow person searching, guide him or her to God's truth, in His wisdom.

You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst. - Nehemiah 9:20 (NIV)
