You got it right with the compositions of the 2/3 rule. Heard of it? It means your photo should be sliced into thirds, and 2/3 should be occupied by something and another 1/3 something else. Some like it to be 2/3 subject, 1/3 background. Others like it the other way round. Either way, they're much nicer than 1/2 sliced shots, where a distinct line shows 1/2 on either side of the photo!
Can see that you're another great photographer in the making!
