Lars and the Real girl (2007)

Great show, despite the weird plot. Great dramatic acting and tension. Some may call it a sappy "milk you emotions and tears" show. Me? I'm just glad I went to watch it.

    okay i wanted to catch this movie =) and i was even thinking of suggesting it for my company's movie event. but ermm.. the presence of the Real Girl made the bosses wonder if it's... family friendly. you know.

    still, heard rave reviews, shall catch it if poss =)

    ha, that's what a lot of my friends told me. They go, "Eeee, how come got the doll one??? hir hir hir hir..."

    It's a very, very good show. The presence of the doll goes on to define a lot of plot. If I say anymore, it will spoil your viewing, so better don't say liao. Definitely family-friendly. if you can't find anyone to watch it, I'll volunteer to watch it a second time. It's THAT good, in my opinion.

    Oh, judging from the way that it's only shown at only 2 theatres by 1 movie chain, the run probably won;t last very long. So better watch it fast...

    P.S. "Ah nia, lir wu kua sa lar bo"? I just checked the Singapore Yahoo website and the GV webpage. Tonight still got show at PS and Vivocity leh, at 7.20pm (PS) and 3 other timings at Vivo...

    i caught it liaoz =) was quite enjoyable... i liked the acting, very real.
