Went to watch this show on Wednesday night. Not a bad show, though it's kinda strange the characters never aged in this show. And Eric Bana as Henry VIII? A tad strange, cos I keep imagining him going into his green rage :D Portman and Johansson were more of eye-candy than anything else.

I watched this too. Entertaining, though of course, it aint exactly the gospel truth. I thought the actors were cast v well - Bana looked very charming and authentically "ham sup", Johannssen played the demure longsuffering sister to the tee, and Portman was in her element as a beautiful schemer. After watching this show, I immediately went home to wikipedia the history of those times (not the film). I hardly think Henry VIII was anywhere near a stud...

ooooo, so did I. Yeaps, not factual, but it was still entertainnig. That's the problem I have with Bana, too slick. Johansson was just eye candy.

Portman was weird - I keep thinking her as the female version of Anakin Skywalker from the Episode 2&3 of Star Wars. Especially the scene where she had a dark cape as she returned from France, on the beaches... :p

oh, 1 more thing from the show I forgot to put, it really brought out the 伴君如伴虎...
