so, what has lions gotta do with becoming the pride of Judah? I know most of you will be thinking "Isn't pride one of the 7 deadly sins? How can one wish to become the Pride of Judah? And hello, haven't you read Jeremiah 13:9? How can you ask people to be proud??"

haha, before you even raise all your hackles and getting ready with your stones, take a look at one of the interesting definition of pride:

7. A company of lions. See Synonyms at flock¹.

And Jesus is referred to as the Lion of Judah*. So If we are in Jesus, are all lions and lionesses, are we not? Ergo, to those who profess Christ as Lord, we are together, the pride (of lions) of Judah...

P.S. This post came about due to the exhortations by some of our pastors, to turn from "chickens" to "lions" of God. It just tickled my funny bones a lot... :D
