Took leave on Monday, to get over the tiredness of Chinese New Year week. Decided (after thinking long and hard) to finally go for the Levis jeans' offer. Took an old pair of jeans and went to a Levi's shop inside Isetan at Shaw House. Great shopping on Monday early afternoon, there's was no one to jostle with and I took time to just walk around. The salesgirl was very helpful, and helped with all my questions. She asked me what size I liked to try for fitting, and I just gave my old waist size.
Went inside the fitting room, and tried to squeeze into them; but they couldn't fit! Finally asked the salesgirl for a measuring tape, and measured my own waits. To my horror of horrors, I am now a size 36!!! *Theatrical sigh* This is what comes from "sinful" binging on beer and "bah kwa"...
Ah well, the Lord gives^ and He takes away^^, but still blessed be the Name,,,
