haha, was just reading through some of the entries in Wiki while doing my movie reviews of the 3 Tamil movies I watched. I didn't even know about the existence of Kollywood, till I read it. Man, considering the amount of films that is coming out from India, I shouldn't be surprised that there should be a 3rd wood, Kollywood...
So how come a Chinese boy like me is watching Tamil films, you might ask? :D well, i guess it's all genetics.* My mom told me how my paternal grandmother would used to switch on the TV and just watch Indian films while she was alive, be it Tamil of Hindi. I don't exactly recall that, either I was too young or this is just another figment of my mom's imagination.** Whatever it is, I just take it my tolerance for watching a medium not in my native tongue^ as a legacy from my grandma. Thank you, Ah Ma! May you be watching all the Tamil movies you want in heaven...
