1. Individualism (Finding Titus is more important than founding a church)

2. Geographical superiority of Macedonia over Troas

Text in black is the sermon notes outline given by church. Text in green are the thoughts I jotted down during the sermon. Not sure why today took down so many pointers :p Not that was trying to write to keep myself awake; just that everything said by Pastor Ed today seems important and apt.

  1. Thanks for this. I missed out some points. Ps Ed also mentioned:

    a) Paul's ministry was: 1) Uncompromised 2) Sincere 3) ??? 4) God-centred. - Rem what 3) was?

    b) 3 ways for us to rise up to our destinies is to: 1) Knowing oneself (e.g. strengths/weaknesses) 2) Die to self (e.g. dreams/ambitions) 3) Find oneself.

  3. Haha... I guess it was a rather lengthy sermon. I love it that we're doing 2 Corinthians now though. Imagine, Ps Ed thinks the few chapters in this book are some of the most impt in the entire NT.

  4. yea, but he peppered a lot of the sermons with that, so make you wonder what is not important :p
