woooo, been a week since I last wrote anything. Yea, been wandering far away from Him. Outwardly, guess I'm still the cranky old fella; but deep inside, only God know how messed up I've been.
Amazing how our Heavenly Father always draws us back to Himself, through the ministering of His Holy Spirit. As I was walking to church yesterday morning, I was just compelled to switch off my iShuffle (even though it was belting Christian hymn songs), and just say a short prayer. A prayer of confession, for forgiveness, for renewal. And even as the Holy Spirit continue to minister to me through the worship, the sermon, the lunch fellowship, I still get attack of self-doubts. What if Jesus can't forgive me for that one sin? What if I've gone beyond the edge, the boundaries of His mercies and grace?
Yea, that is what straying away from God means. Relying on your own strength, trying to stand up on your own, when you have nothing of your own resources to fight against the world. Then you form all kinds of ridiculous un-Biblical notions in your head...
Then I hear that still small voice in my being, telling me, "You have seen nothing yet, My son. Just come clean, and I will heal."
That's it, two sentences. No angels coming down to reveal, no signs of miracles, no visions or dreams. Just thaose two sentences. Yet, those two sentences scream louder than anything across from eternity. Before time was formed by God; before He died on the cross from me; before the time I was formed in my mother's womb; beyond the trials and joys I had, I am having and will have; beyond the time I will see His face in Heaven.
And thus I am restored, not by my own strengths, but by Him again. Praise and thanks be to God.
For those who've been far away, I pray this will encourage you to just come clean with Him, and just come back to the Father.
“ By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. ”- Psalm 42:8

Chris Rice - Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus)
From the album Run The Earth...Watch the Sky
Weak and wounded sinner,
Lost and left to die,
O, raise your head for Love is passing by
Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus and live
Now your burden's lifted,
And carried far away,
And precious blood has washed away the stain... so
Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus and live
And like a newborn baby,
Don't be afraid to crawl,
And remember when you walk sometimes we fall... so
Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus and live
Sometimes the way is lonely,
And steep and filled with pain,
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain... then
Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus and live
O, and when the love splills over,
And music fills the night,
And when you can't contain you joy inside... then
Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus and live
And with your final heartbeat,
Kiss the world goodbye,
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side... and
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus and live
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus and live
