yo, been tired these few days. No time to write blog^. So here's a short one, to let my friends be aware I am still alive and well.^^ :P
yeaps, rode my father's "lau pok chia"* to clementi, to help out a friend in need. Bu then ah, the lau pok chia really is a torture. It took me an hour to ride from my place to church, and then another hour to ride it to clementi. At first my friend was so happy that he got to save moola by no need to take cab to church for the morning prayer meeting. but after only after an morning's ride HARD bicycle ride, he was convinced that must be a better way to get to church. and i totally concur with him. basically we figure it takes the same amount of physical effort if he had run to church. The only thing cut down by the bicycle is the time traveling down slope. then again, the downslope time is offset by the time you travel UPSLOPE. so go figure...
well, only one thing to say before ending off:
Amount of moola to take from his place to church: $8 max.
Amount saved from these times he needed to go church: $50 max
Amount worth to see his haggard looking face and all the funny comments (especially the ones about the sore butts) he made after that one morning ride: PRICELESS.
ok, my eyes are drooping off, time for my afternoon nap...
^ or rather, the laptop din allowed me to save my blog entries. Long story, for another blog entry...
^^ still fasting from MSN in the day hours on weekdays. A good thing for me, it is...
* "old broken down car" in hokkien. well, it's my dad's bicycle., the kind you find a dozen a dime in the neighborhood kinds.
