Yesterday had the opportunity to go for CommunicAsia 2007- a regional event that attracts firms who deal with information-communication technology and what-nots to come and exhibit their latest wares and technologies. Was supposed to go down in the morning to meet up with some friends; in the end, went there about 1.30pm as needed to clear some urgent stuff at work. As it was the last day of the fair, initially thought there was gonna be a lot of people. Turns out this is not the case* - as most of the exhibitors are sitting around their booths looking exhausted.
Managed to meet my friends there, who made a clean sweep of the freebies and took lotsa pictures with the models that caught their eyes. Hmm, maybe next year should arrange to go with them right from the morning...
Lesson learnt: Do your homework before attending a trade fair.
* as with PC shows and computer trade-fairs.
what kind of freebies do they offer?
