Anyway, surfed around for around 20 minutes before decided to go to the bank and change my bank pass. I rode my bike to the usual bank, and found a long line of people queuing up. The line seems longer than usual, so I decided to try my luck* at another branch. Unfortunately, the same scenario repeated it self. In fact, the queue at this second branch seemed to be even longer! I decided to look around to see whether there is a shortcut, or shorter queue; because from past experiences, to wait in the line will take at least 1 hour plus to clear the line.

Well, with that much time, I started aggressively cleaning up my pig-sty of a room when I got home. I share a room with my bro, and he has kindly tidied up our room a few weeks back. But during the clean-up, he re-arranged certain of my "organic pile" of paper, and I can't find them. So I decided that today will be a good day to re-arrange and throw out my "rubbish" as well as try to recover my stuff. Got sidetracked after an hour plus, 'cos the whole place was really dusty, from all the shifting of all the old and yellowing paper. Decided to take a break and went online to MSN to my old chat-buddies**. That "break" became a full-fledge hour of "talking-cock session". Soon lunch-time beckoned and I logged off and went out with my brother.
Mom was out to church for the day, so we had to scrounge up lunch ourselves. We actually wanted to catch and afternoon matinee at the movies. We are both anime-otaku, and were pretty keen on catching the 1.20pm show of "The Girl Who Leaped Through Time". Unfortunately, we forgot that today is the holiday for all student, in lieu of Youth Day falling on a Sunday yesterday. So when we got to Cathay at Causeway Point at 12.40pm, the whole place was jam-packed with "people mountain, people sea". We waited in line for 10 minutes, saw that it wasn't working out, and decided to go for lunch first instead. Had a satisfying set lunch meal at Jack's Place before heading back to the movies to buy the tickets for the evening show.
After buying the tickets, headed over to the library to return some books. Hanged around a while to enjoy the cooling air-condition as well as look for some books before heading home to conclude the tidying up of my room. In the end managed to at least find back my cap which I bought in Sze Chuan. But I still can't find my other stuff. Well, enough was enough. I probably have to use another leave day to continue this. Had a great dinner - momma's homecooked is always the best***. As me and my bro were just about to head out, suddenly received a call from my colleague. It turns out I was supposed to go watch another movie with them, but I mixed up the days. Apologised profusely, as I can't teleport to the other location within the space of 10 minutes. And even if I could, can't also since I going out with my brother.
The show was terrific. It deserved the award it got last year - a very touching movie it is. Some may find the ending a bit strange, but let's just say all's not definite the way we see things in life. Me and my bro thoroughly didn't feel the 1 and 1/2 hour passing by, as we were totally engrossed in the film. Came home to write about my day, and now gonna go hit the sack.
What can I say? Off-day is shiok ah... Especially when it's spent on self-care. Thank You, Abba, for making this a wonderful day!
