Hmm, the title "house cleansing party" just sounds weird, no matter how many times I say it. Nonetheless, it was a good time spent with friends amidst celebration of the new place that my 2 friends got for their wedding.
Yes, we had to do spiritual warfare cos the previous owner worshipped idols at the home, and the couple feels that they need to consecrate the home they're moving in. We prayed for God's power to remove any lingering spirits, and for God's presence to minister through the couple, and to honor their desire to use their home for the Lord.
I believe God already works even before we utter our prayers. Before the ceremony started, the sky was overcast; after the ceremony I saw blue skies appearing over the skyscape. To me, that is the sign that God has heard, and He will indeed answer our prayers for the couple and their home in His own timing and ways far beyond our imaginations.
Oh, if the pictures appears blurry, it's not due to spiritual reasons. More of photographer's ineptness :P

P.S. In case you're wondering why are there so many food shots, the couple decided to bless us with their cooking before we start to "work" :D All I can say the food's awesome!
