Woke up at 7am this morn, cos awakened up my old faithful alarm on the mobile phone. Switched it off and went back to sleep. Next time I knew when I opened my eyes again, it's near 10am! Shucks, and the weather was so bright and good some more ~ there goes the trip to the swimming pool... Got up, had some coffee, chatted to mom and bro, read some papers and mopped some floor. Then decided had to get out of the house after lunch. Last weekend never got to go our, because of the rain on Saturday and serving in the church celebrations on Sunday. Decided to head down to town and walk around a bit, as well as get a gift for a friend.
On the spur, decided to go watch a foreign-language film. Read about the synopsis online, and was quite intrigued by the plot. After buying the tickets, on my way out of the cinema, saw the extra large poster of a film which one of my friends wanna jio people to go watch.
I already replied her before this that after seeing the ad in the papers, I do not think I wanna spend weekend cinema rates on this film. Seeing the poster in full vibrant colors only confirm my resolution of not watching it :D
Oh, and Wall.E's fever is on! Saw this ultra-cutesy poster cut-out of Wall.E and decided to snap a hot.
Back to the reason why I need to shop. We were supposed to give a small gift to another colleague unknowingly during our company retreat, and be a secret encourager. Unfortunately, I didn't know my "encouragee" very well. Thus I told him I will only give him the gift later. :P After finding out some info from others who knew him better, I knew what to get for him. So I went browsing around HMV. Didn't managed to get what I wanted for him; furthermore, spent additional precious "moolah" on the Bruni album. :P
After that, head to my haunt at Ngee Ann City for a refreshing cup of frothy lemon tea. I think they increased the price again. !@#@#$%% but the texture and the coolness of the lemon tea is really something. So I parted with the additional $.025 ungrudgingly. Decided to finish up the rest of the Arden book; as well as read some of the Tim Wright's book. Love the way the Bishop writes about worship. Mebbe will post some snippets of it later...
After that, headed back to the cinema and watched the show. Got more shots of Wall.E and EVE together
Received an sms during the show - another friend had to cancel dinner appointment. So I change plans and head to Plaza Singapura. Had dinner first, as I was famished by then. Bought the gift for the encouragee and head on home. Bumped into someone whom I hadn't met up with for a while. Chatted with her like say 3 minutes, before parting ways to catch the long long ride back home via MRT. Well, she just caught Wall.E and told me it's a nice film, very "sweet" despite the lack of a dialogue. Hmm, better go get tickets now...
So what show did you watch, if not Wall.e?
ReplyDeleteI loved it!! It is an absolutely cute show, obviously pro mac, and with a plot to beat!
I was SO tempted to kapok the life sized Wall.e origami poster, but thankfully came to my senses. Still thinking about it though... very doable you know... its at TP entertainment hub, just 5 min where I live. If I went late at night when no one's around, carried it and ran all the way back home, no one would be the wiser for it...!!
:P
Allo, you know what is called CCTV? :P
ReplyDeleteWent to watch Bad Habits. Not a bad show, but can be disturbing one hor...
Oh yah hor! Thanx for reminding me!!!
ReplyDeleteHmm... will need to find ski mask and a black tees and leggings...
