haha, my friend asked me this morning on how to pronouce this Chinese word. It's not a common word used in our everyday writing, so I was stumped. I went to the most "chee na"*-native speaker I can find and asked her and lo and behold! She also doesn't know :D We checked the dictionary but still can't seems to find it. ReplyDeleteIt seems like its the equivalent of singlish "Cheh!" :) Haha... But in this case since there is a chinese round full stop, it would read, "Cheh."
