Potter's Cafe By The Pool

Rating:★★★★
Category:Restaurants
Cuisine: Other
Location:just besides the swimming pool at SAFRA Clubhouse Mount Faber (2 Telok Blangah Way Singapore 098803)
Went there to spend some time with 2 friends who came back from abroad to spend time with their family. Had a very good meal there.

Menu is a mixture of Western and Asian cuisine. I think the owners are the people who used to do "Country Manna". Reminiscent of the food of the restaurant.

I tried the Garlic bread with cheese for appetizers. Fantastically done, served piping hot. For the main course, I tried the lamb dish. Also superb and thoughtful - no bones! The sauce was the spicy kind, but not so hot as to burn your throat. For desert, had a cappuccino with a slice of brownie, without the ice-cream*. My friends tried the lasagna and gave it three thumbs up**. The dory and the spring chicken were great too.

It's a nice little joint, peaceful and quiet. If you want privacy or want to spend some time in solitude, I recommend this place~

*without the ice cream, as I ate a lot already...

** three thumbs out of two, not out of five. :p
