The Japanese original was titled "いま、会いにゆきます". It was written by Takuji Ichikawa (市川拓司) and published as a novel in 2003,. It was later drawn into manga by Yasuhiko Takata (高田靖彥) in 2004. A film adaptation was also released in the same year to rave reception for its moving and compelling story of love.

I came across the Chinese comic version in the library a few days ago, and delved into the story again. There are some differences between the comic and the film version, but it's still pretty moving. Do read it if you can~
