"The Golden Compass". yeaps, there's a huge furor kicked up over the film, about how it will corrupt the minds of young children. Eh, I haven't read up about the books yet; but the furor did sparked my interest to find out more about the film.

Well, I've always been drawn to the fantasy genre, be in books, movies or games. Maybe I'll go watch this on next Monday. Wait for my review~
I encourage you to not only find out about the book first, but also the author; and his statements and beliefs on the church and religion.
