on what we meditate upon in worship for CG last week

haha, last week we did a topic on Jehovah-Rohi, which is the Jewish for "The Lord is My Shepherd". As I was leading the worship session, had to rack my brains on singing songs that reminds us of His shepherding. I was much tickled when I read the portion I blogged in my previous entry. Shepherd Of My Soul

Martin Nystrom

Key:
D

Verse:

Shepherd of my soul, I give You full control

Wherever You may lead I will follow

I have made the choice, to listen to Your voice

Wherever You may lead, I will go

Chorus:

Be it in a quiet pasture, or by a gentle stream

The Shepherd of my soul is by my side

Should I face a mighty mountain, or a valley dark and deep

The Shepherd of my soul will be my guide

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

1.The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

 2. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
       he leads me beside quiet waters,

 3. he restores my soul.
       He guides me in paths of righteousness
       for his name's sake.

 4. Even though I walk
       through the valley of the shadow of death,
       I will fear no evil,
       for you are with me;
       your rod and your staff,
       they comfort me.

 5.You prepare a table before me
       in the presence of my enemies.
       You anoint my head with oil;
       my cup overflows.

 6.Surely goodness and love will follow me
       all the days of my life,
       and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
       forever.
