on THAT MDA Rap...

hahahahaha, so far I have mixed reviews from my friends about this. One of my friend is actually furious over this. She thought of it as really something that, to quote, "really slam face against the wall". And the best part, she said it probably cost quite a bit of our taxpayers' money* to produce this. She's thinking of immigration liao...

My other friend just laughed his head off over this when he saw it. He said "it's so bad, it's actually good." And only in Singapore can we find people who rap with no sense of rhythm, and still can talk about money and dollars sense into their "thang"...

Well, for me, who is totally unfamiliar with this genre, I say that the people who appeared in this are indeed bold and courageous. And hey, they are not professional rap artistes, of course they cannot be expected to produced a piece of rap that's a commercial success la**. Still, in all fairness to our eardrums, please give us the good old tunes of "Count on Me, Singapore"...

*Hmm, funny how it's always back to this argument of using "our taxpayers' money". How much of tax-payers' money is actually ours?? :p

** if they can, I'll be worried... :D
